Most tools tell you if a stock will go up. iStockLens tells you two different things: is this a good company, and is today a good price to buy it. A great business can still be a bad buy today — we show you both, separately, so you don't chase a good stock at a bad moment. Every report includes business quality, a fair value range, and entry pricing — built from real financial data, not sentiment or hype.

Hey everyone — I'm Harris, the founder of iStockLens. I started building this after a pretty simple, annoying pattern kept happening to me: I'd find a genuinely good company, buy it, and then watch it drop right after — not because the business was bad, but because I bought at a bad moment. And the opposite happened too: I'd sell something because it looked shaky short-term, only to watch it run without me because the business was fine all along. Most stock tools answer one question — "is this a good stock?" — and leave you to figure out timing on your own. I wanted something that treats those as two separate questions, because they are: is this a good company, and is today a good price to buy it. A great business can still be a bad buy today, and I think that distinction gets lost in most stock research tools. iStockLens generates a report for any stock covering business quality, a fair value range, and current entry timing — all from real financial data, no hype, no price predictions. I spent the last several months making sure the entry-timing side in particular doesn't overclaim what it can actually tell you — it describes what's happening now, it doesn't promise what happens next. Would love your feedback, especially if you're someone who's been burned by buying a good stock at the wrong time (I have the receipts on this one myself).

Who hunted iStockLens?

iStockLens was hunted by Haris. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
