Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Ibrahim, a solo developer from Indonesia, and Ishra started as a fix for myself.
I'm in my twenties, and my salah was still all over the place. Not because I didn't care. The adhan would go off, I'd hear it, and my thumb would stay on the screen until twenty minutes were gone.
So I built an app that pauses the apps I pick the moment a prayer window opens, and lets them back once I've logged the prayer.
The decision I care about most: Ishra never verifies that you prayed. No app can, and I didn't want to pretend. The log is yours, and it believes you. A gap isn't treated as failure, just a day without an entry.
A few things I'm proud of:
• Prayer times calculated on the device from your city, with all the major methods
• No account, no ads. Nothing you log is ever sent to me
• Built natively for Android and iPhone
The core is free forever. Supporters unlock a few extras, and that keeps it free for everyone else.
