Inuvi is a founder-fit startup idea generator. Instead of asking “what are some startup ideas?”, it asks “what should this person build?” It uses a structured founder profile to generate ideas matched to the user’s skills, interests, constraints, time, capital, and risk tolerance. Each idea includes fit reasoning, risks, competitors, validation questions, and next steps.

Hi, I’m Mark, the maker of Inuvi.

After 10 years at Meta, I started wondering what startup ideas I'd find interesting and be good at building. I ranked these ideas by effort, potential value, and risk, and iterated several times before finding one I really liked. Two VCs liked this one idea but they were more surprised and impressed by how I got to it. Both suggested the process I used to generate ideas could make a great startup by itself. So, I made Inuvi.

Inuvi starts with a short founder profile: your background, skills, interests, constraints, risk tolerance, time, capital, and areas you want to avoid. From that, it generates startup ideas that are meant to fit you, not just whatever is trending.

Each idea includes:
• why it fits your profile
• a fit score
• risks and assumptions
• possible competitors
• questions to validate
• notes on how you might approach it

Right now this is intentionally early. I’m trying to learn whether personalized idea generation is useful enough to become the starting point for a broader founder workflow: idea discovery → validation → planning → prototyping.

I’d especially love feedback on:
• whether the generated ideas feel meaningfully personalized
• what information you would want before deciding to pursue an idea
• whether this should go deeper into validation, prototyping, market research, or founder matching next

Thanks for taking a look! I’d love your feedback.

Who hunted Inuvi?

Inuvi was hunted by Mark Westling. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
