I built this after watching a friend bomb three FAANG onsites in a row. He knew the material; he froze under the pressure. Existing tools (Cluely, etc.) were either obvious to interviewers or required pasting questions into ChatGPT in another window.
Interview Helpers runs as a transparent overlay:
- Ctrl+1 — screenshot the question, get a structured answer in 2–4s
- System Design mode — Mermaid diagrams + tradeoff analysis
- Speaker mode — transcribes verbal theory questions ("explain TCP vs UDP") and serves a 30-second answer
- Doesn't show up in screen-share or Zoom recordings
Models: GPT-5 by default, Claude 4 for system design (better at tradeoffs).
Free tier: 10 queries/day. Pro: $19/mo unlimited.
Not here to argue the ethics — it's the same as having a senior engineer over your shoulder, except faster. Happy to take any question.
