Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Ibrahim, founder of Intermenu.
The idea came from watching the same scene repeat in restaurants: a table of tourists squinting at a paper menu, the waiter trying to explain a dish with hand gestures, and everyone settling for "two pizzas" because it felt safe. The restaurant loses the upsell, the guests miss the best dishes, and nobody wins.
And there's a darker version of that scene: a guest asking "does this contain nuts?" and getting a guess instead of an answer. In the EU, allergen information is a legal obligation (Regulation 1169/2011) — but most menus can't deliver it in the guest's language.
So I built Intermenu. You photograph or import your existing menu, and in about 10 minutes you have a live QR menu that:
🌍 displays in 15+ languages (dish names stay authentic — only descriptions and labels translate)
⚠️ keeps allergen and diet tags correct in every language
📸 generates food photos with AI when you have none
📊 shows you what guests actually view and order — by language
🏪 manages multiple locations from one account
