Most war maps are paywalled or manually curated. Intel Mapper ingests OSINT sources 24/7 and runs every report through an AI pipeline: relevance filtering, multi-source verification and precise geolocation — then renders it on a live map. Two full theatres (Ukraine + Middle East), territorial control synced twice daily, automatic capture detection, movement arrows, live military flight tracking, 3D terrain. Every event has a confidence score and source links. Free; premium adds archives & API.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I started building Intel Mapper because I was frustrated: the good conflict maps are paywalled, and the free ones are slow or full of unverified rumors.
So I built a pipeline that watches OSINT sources (X, Telegram) around the clock and puts every single report through AI processing: is it real news or noise? Is it confirmed by multiple sources? And the hardest part — where EXACTLY did it happen? The geolocation stack goes down to facility level (a specific airbase or refinery, not just "near city X"), snaps Ukraine's frontline to DeepState data, and syncs Yemen's control zones from community-maintained maps twice a day. When a town changes hands, the map flags it automatically.
Everything is free to explore — premium tiers exist for power users (archives, alerts, API).
I'd genuinely love feedback from this community: what would make this useful for YOUR work — journalism, research, or just staying informed? And ask me anything about the AI pipeline, it was a fun engineering ride (LLM-based geocoding is harder than it sounds 😅).
