The brass weight feels really substantial when you hold it, and the knurling actually grips well without snagging on anything. Matte black finish looks clean against my white baseboards.
The weight feels really solid and the knurled texture actually gives a nice grip when adjusting it. Wish the satin brass finish was a touch warmer, but it sits flush and stopped a slammed door on day one.
Finally installed one of these and the knurling gives it a real grip feel, plus it looks way better than the rubber bumpers I had before. Definitely feels like something that will hold up for years.
Love the weight and finish on these. One thing that would push me to buy a set: a coordinating hook or pull in the same knurled pattern so I can match the hardware across the whole room instead of mixing brands.
