Inscura gives the videos you already own a home beyond folders: a poster wall, movie and TV metadata, cast details, tags, and smart collections. Your original files stay where they are.
The feature I'm especially excited to share is local AI scene search. Describe a scene or use a reference image to find matching frames and timestamps, then jump to the moment in a compatible player. It requires an initial component download and video indexing; indexing and search run on your computer without uploading your videos.
It's available now for Mac and Windows. The free version includes library browsing, metadata, tags, up to 10 smart collections, and movie metadata/artwork export. A one-time license starts at $29.90 and adds AI search, more smart collections, cover blur, and library password protection. The library password does not encrypt your original videos.
