Hey everyone – Joseph here, the founder of InhibiTic. I’m a medical student and I’ve had Tourette for as long as I can remember.
I stopped taking meds at 14 because they made me sleepy in class and noticeably worse at maths. I felt like I was choosing between tics and my own mind. That trade-off never sat right with me. So I started building InhibiTic: a headband that detects the brain signal right before a tic and delivers a tiny, precise boost to help your brain suppress it – only when needed. No brain fog. No constant buzzing. Just stillness without the side effects.
I’ve tested the core software, built a simulation demo, and we’re now opening the waitlist ahead of the first self-experiment and clinical pilot. The mission is simple: silence the tic, keep the mind sharp.
