Hi Product Hunt! I built IncreaseImages after seeing how often upload forms reject otherwise valid photos and signatures.
The confusing part is that “image size” can mean pixel dimensions or encoded KB. IncreaseImages separates those goals: target a KB value or range, set width and height, or scale the image up to 4×. You can compare the source and output before downloading.
Privacy shaped the architecture. Static JPEG, PNG, and WebP files are processed locally in the browser; the image and generated result are not uploaded to an IncreaseImages server. There is no signup and no paid processing API.
It is deliberately not positioned as AI upscaling. It can resample pixels and re-encode bytes, but it cannot recover detail that was never in the source.
