Every time we've built a new product, idea, feature, we always found ourselves wanting to share it to the world. When we tried to make a high quality launch video, we tried to:
Work with an agency. Spoiler: The video was alright, the cost in time and money was not worth it.
Raw-dog it and make it with after effects. Spoiler: Got a square to rotate, and couldn't figure out how to do anything else.
Just claude and codex it! So this got something relatively fast too! And I could iterate. But man was it the definition of AI slop.
Okay so we gotta make videos that look like a pro made it in AfterEffects without spending a couple grand, and easy enough to iterate with an AI. That's exactly what Impractical lets you do.

We're working on launching with new quality upgrades to the platform, hoping to get this improved in the next few days
the story behind this feels very relatable. I have had plenty of ideas where making the video was harder than building the actual feature, so simplifying that part would be genuinely useful.
