I built Who's Imposter because a lot of social deduction and party games still feel heavier than they need to. Many require downloads, account setup, or a game flow that is harder to explain than it should be, especially when the goal is just to get a group playing quickly.
I wanted to make something that works well on phones, starts fast in the browser, and fits different group situations. Some groups are together in one room and want pass-and-play on a single phone. Others are remote or using separate devices and need a room-based flow. That split shaped most of the product.
While building it, I kept narrowing the scope toward lower friction: faster setup, simpler round flow, mobile-friendly screens, and clearer wording for new players. I also added themed word packs and an AI word generator to help replayability without making the core experience feel bloated.
I’d especially love feedback on onboarding, the difference between pass-and-play and room mode, and whether the product positioning feels clear.
