Why I built it: when an Android phone starts showing full-screen ads, the usual advice is "uninstall your recent apps" or "install an antivirus". Neither works well. Adware often waits days before its first ad, so it isn't your most recent app, and it hides inside apps that still work normally (a QR scanner, a flashlight, a "cleaner"), so scans that compare against known lists miss it.
So Impossible doesn't guess. With your permission, it watches which app opens a window on top of the screen and when (never what's on the screen), and after about two pop-ups it names the app. Then it opens Android's own uninstall dialog, with a shield that keeps the pop-ups off it, and checks the ads really stopped.
