I’m Olamide, founder of Immigranta.
The idea came from a simple frustration: every time someone asked an immigration question, the answer seemed buried somewhere across GOV.UK pages, appendices, guidance documents, policy statements, and legal updates. Even experienced professionals often spend significant time finding and verifying the right information.
Meanwhile, many people have started turning to AI for answers, but immigration is one of those domains where a hallucinated answer can have serious consequences.
So we asked ourselves:
What if AI could help people navigate immigration rules without asking them to blindly trust the AI?
That’s the problem Immigranta is designed to solve.
Instead of relying solely on model memory, Immigranta retrieves relevant information from official UK immigration sources first, then generates answers grounded in that evidence. Every answer includes citations so you can inspect the source material yourself.
Our goal isn’t to replace lawyers or immigration advisers. It’s to make trustworthy immigration information more accessible, easier to understand, and significantly faster to research.
We’re still early, and there’s a lot more we want to build, but we’re excited to finally share it with the community.
