Image Describer started as a Chrome extension to help blind users get AI descriptions of images on the web as an accessibility tool, built under AccessLint. When I looked at the usage data, I saw that most people weren't using it for accessibility, they were using it to create descriptions for products. One seller had described the same image 43 times generating variations to avoid duplicate content penalties when cross-listing.
I met my users where they were, and tailored the prompts to each platform's actual ranking rules. I built the web app as a proper interface, more to come on the Chrome Extension.
