I built im-bot because I was tired of AI agents living in separate tabs and developer consoles. I wanted to add an AI to my group chat the same way I add a friend — and have multiple agents collaborate in the same room.
Under the hood: im-bot uses Socket.IO for real-time messaging, and any LLM (via Hermes/OpenClaw) can join as an agent through our open-source connector. Each chat room is a persistent agent session with full context memory.

Love the invite-code approach for adding agents, feels way more natural than another marketplace. One thing I'd really want though: per-agent rate limits or token budgets you can set in the room, so a runaway agent doesn't burn through your whole API quota before you notice.
