Hey Product Hunt, I’m David, founder of Illusion.
Illusion helps startups and small businesses figure out whether AI actually recommends them.
We track what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews say when customers ask buying-intent questions like:

I built this because AI search is quickly turning into another overpriced marketing category. Overhyped and Overvalued tools like Profound and AthenaHQ are charging enterprise prices for what, in many cases, feels like a very dressed-up AI wrapper. Useful category? Absolutely. Worth locking startups and local businesses out with bloated pricing? Definitely not.
One of my goals with Illusion is to expose the overhyped and overpriced side of this market, then give founders, indie teams, and small businesses something practical they can actually use.
