I built WordSprint after years of "studying" English vocab and still drawing blanks the moment I actually needed a word.
My nightly routine looked productive: flash through 50 cards, tap "I knew it" on most of them, close the app. A week later, half of them were gone. The problem wasn't effort — it was timing. Cards came back too soon (boring) or too late (already forgotten).
So WordSprint is built around one question: when is the right moment to show this word again?
We answered it with a scheduler built on the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve. Each word reappears just before you'd lose it — not when a calendar reminder fires. A daily target of 30 new words keeps the load realistic, and streaks + 16 badges turn the habit into something you actually want to keep.
