ICX builds breakthrough RF vision technology that turns radio signals into spatial intelligence — detecting weak signals, mapping wireless activity, and guiding autonomous systems with high precision and real time 2D imaging, all in a handheld form factor.
What inspired us to build RadionIQ
We started ICX because we saw a huge gap in how machines perceive the world. Cameras give visual intelligence. LiDAR gives depth. GPS gives position. But radio signals — the most fundamental layer of modern infrastructure — remain invisible.
Yet everything around us emits RF:
drones
wireless devices
sensors
networks
critical infrastructure
We realized that if autonomous systems could see radio signals the way they see light, they could make far better decisions. That insight became the foundation for RadionIQ.
What problems we’re solving
1. Radio signals are invisible
Robots and autonomous systems can’t interpret the RF environment. They can’t see weak signals, hidden devices, or wireless activity around them.
2. RF sensing is slow, complex, and requires experts
Traditional RF tools are bulky, technical, and not designed for real‑time spatial awareness.
3. Autonomy needs better guidance
Drones and autonomous platforms need precise, real‑time information about the RF landscape to navigate, avoid interference, or interact with wireless systems.
4. No existing solution provides spatial RF intelligence
There is no handheld device that turns radio signals into real‑time 2D imaging or spatial vectors.
RadioNiq solves all four.
How we approached the problem
We built RadioNiq from first principles:
New RF‑vision algorithms inspired by synthetic aperture and weak‑signal detection
Spatial reconstruction that converts RF activity into intuitive 2D imaging
Real‑time processing on compact hardware
A handheld form factor that anyone can use
Guidance vectors that help autonomous systems make better decisions
Instead of treating RF as a technical measurement, we treat it as a visual modality — something you can map, interpret, and act on.
This approach lets RadioNiq deliver:
weak‑signal detection
wireless‑activity mapping
real‑time 2D RF imaging
high‑precision guidance for autonomous systems
all in a compact, handheld device

Who hunted ICX Systems?
ICX Systems was hunted by Rebecca Melakari. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. See the full all-time top hunters leaderboard to discover who is shaping the Product Hunt ecosystem.
