Connect Icons8 MCP to Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf and get huge icon packs up to 40K icons in your vibe-coding projects. Tell your AI "make these icons colored" or "add food icons" – full coverage guaranteed. Free PNG, $15 SVG.
We got tired of the same boring dance: code something cool → realize it needs icons → open 47 browser tabs → find matching icons → download → import → repeat.
So we built Icons8 MCP server.
Now you just tell Claude Code (or whatever vibe-coding tool you use) "make all icons trendy and outlined" or "add cute food icons to this menu" and boom – it grabs icons from our library of 116 styles and does it.
Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code and other coding tools that support MCP. Takes 2 minutes to set up.
PNG icons are free. SVG costs $15 (we need to pay our developers and buy coffee sometimes ☕).
We've been making icons for 13 years. Now we're making them stupid-easy to use in the AI coding era.
If we have multiple devs but a single designer, can we use the single designer API key for all the devs? Paying 15$ for each one of them would be a huge bill at the end of the year
This is great and I've experienced the problem you just solved for. I'm non-technical and use Replit. Is that something I can use Icon8 MCP Server? Nice launch.
This MCP is bringing us closer to the future - where I just sit with a whiskey and tell (out loud) my agent+MCP squad what to do, how to style, where to get creative, etc. And in an hour I've got a beautiful designer micro-SaaS.
how does the style matching work when there are mixed design systems already in place? For example, I use some custom SVGs in certain components — will it still recommend icons in line with that or override them?
It helps me to quickly find the icons I want without switching between different platforms. A great tool from a great team. :)

Having instant access to such a massive icon library really speeds up my workflow, especially when collaborating with teammates who need specific styles or themes on the fly. The AI integration is super handy—just telling it to swap out icon colors or add new categories saves so much time. Highly recommend this for developers and designers working on dynamic UI projects or hackathons!
