1000+ line icons on a 24px grid, free under CC0. Tweak stroke width, color and size live, then copy or download SVG/PNG, or hotlink the file. Search by name, browse 30 categories. No sign-up, no attribution, no fee. Just free icons for your project.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Andreas, the maker of iconsforfree.com 👋
What it is: a free library of 1000+ free line icons (30 categories, 24px grid, one consistent style: rounded caps, open shapes).
What makes it different:
- CC0 licence. Public domain: commercial use, modification and redistribution with no attribution and no notice to carry around. Just use them for free.
- Customize before you export. Change stroke width (1–2.5), color and size (16–2048 px), toggle a transparent background, then download SVG or PNG, or copy the markup.
- Hotlinkable. Every icon has a direct SVG URL, e.g. https://iconsforfree.com/icons/h..., and inline SVGs use currentColor so they inherit your text color.
- Fast to use. ⌘K search, keyboard navigation, one page per icon.
Free forever? Yes, the icons are CC0, no sign-up, no paywall, just free icons. Very simple.
I'd love your feedback on: which icons are missing for your projects, and whether the stroke/customize panel does what you'd expect. Drop a comment with the icon you wish existed and I'll add the best requests to the next batch.
Thanks for taking a look!
searched "phon" and got 24 hits including incoming/outgoing/missed/vibrate variants, not just one generic handset glyph, that granularity is what actually saves time versus other free icon sets. left a full review too. one request since you asked: a "call recording" or "waveform" icon would be handy for anything voice/telephony related, that combo is surprisingly hard to find in most free sets.
