Hey Product Hunt 👋 We built i2pic because we got tired of a pattern that every "online image converter" seems to share: 1. Drag your file in 2. File gets uploaded to a stranger's server 3. Sit in a queue 4. Maybe get a watermark 5. Maybe get asked to sign up 6. Finally download the result For scanned documents, ID photos, contracts, client work — anything sensitive — that's a bad deal. The upload step is a privacy decision disguised as a feature. So we flipped it. i2pic runs every converter locally in your browser via WebAssembly. HTML, TIFF, JFIF, EPS, ICO, HEIF, SVG, DNG → PNG, all decoded and re-encoded on your device. No bytes touch a server because there is no upload server. A few things that make this work: - 9 formats covered (HTML and SVG are especially useful for developers, HEIC for iPhone users) - Multi-page TIFF splits into one PNG per page - Lossless — pixel-identical to the source - Genuinely free, no signup, no watermark (no server cost = no business reason to gate it) I'm in the comments all day. What's the image format that annoys you most? We're prioritizing what to add next.

Who hunted i2pic?

i2pic was hunted by chaskx. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
