Google has integrated Gemini into drive. So now if you open anything on Google drive there is a pop up of gemini that according to me does all the functions that you do. Plz tell me if there is any function that you offer that the likes of gemini and NotebookLm do not offer?

Hi @alexchen4ai I’m wondering how data privacy is handled in this tool. Since it connects and processes content locally is there any chance that user data or metadata could be sent back to their servers for analytics, telemetry, or profiling purposes? In other words how can we be sure there’s no background syncing or data leakage happening behind the scenes?
This is a strong direction for personal AI — most people don’t need more cloud tools, they need intelligence applied to the files they already have. On-device, private, and zero-setup is the combination that finally makes “AI second brain” feel practical rather than theoretical. If the citation layer is reliable, this could become a daily-use tool for anyone drowning in docs. Excited to see how it handles large, messy real-world folders — that’s where the real value shows.
I've been using this tool as a local AI in pairing with my Obsidian vault. While I'm still early in using it, so far it's been so much easier and more useful than any of the local AI tools within Obsidian itself. Beyond that I can use it for local files on my laptop, even better! Great launch and can't wait to test more!
