One thing I want to make clear: **no client-side JavaScript library can completely secure your application.** If someone is determined enough, they can still inspect or modify code running in their own browser.
Hyde Security JS isn't about making impossible promises.
Instead, it focuses on raising the barrier against casual inspection, automated scraping, debugging, and common tampering techniques while remaining lightweight, configurable, and developer-friendly.
### Why I built it
While working on web applications, I noticed that adding these protections usually meant copying snippets from different blogs or writing the same code repeatedly.
I wanted a single library that developers could install in minutes instead of reinventing the wheel for every project.
