I'm the solo developer behind HUUSH.
I started working on this because censoring swear words in videos is way more tedious than it should be. Having to replay clips, find every swear word, cut the audio, and repeat just felt like something that could be automated.
So I built HUUSH, a native macOS app that detects profanity in your videos and lets you censor it with a beep or silence. You can review everything before exporting, and all the processing happens locally on your Mac.
There's still a lot I want to improve and add, but I'm excited to finally share what I've been working on.
