Seeing all of the recent supply chain attacks like the Shai-Hulud worms made us realise that it is more important than ever to have good security posture. We have tried to set up good security, but all of the existing tools bring too much friction, and they are mostly for enterprise. Husk is an open-source scanner, that helps you stay protected.
We wanted to build a security solution for developers, its open-source and works locally. We also think using it as an MCP is the best way to get value, connect it to your agent and get to working. We've notice agents are much better with security work with a deterministic scanner like this, and it helps you work through the vulnerabilities and reduce false positives.
