The biggest turnoff is submitting a resume on linkedin and seeing your submission is one of 500 or 1000 resumes. My advice is to stay niche and build a portal in which it sorts all not only by skills but by business vertical. Many companies look for people in their own industry. Another idea would be to have Huntly facilitate the virtual meeting by send invites (think calendy) to both parties and also hosting the session on Zoom/Teams/Google etc. Employers are so busy sometimes they cannot even move forward or even dismiss people fast enough.
