Hi Product Hunt — I’m Etan, one of the people behind Huminz.
I built Huminz around a simple idea: most people have a lifetime of stories, photos, places and memories, but “write your memoir” can feel like an impossible place to start.
Huminz lets you begin much smaller. Add a milestone, a memory, a photo, a person, a place, a voice recording — and let the story grow over time.
One feature I especially like is Meanwhile, which brings in the music, news, films and events from the same period to help trigger memories and add context.
Family members can contribute their own perspective, and the finished story can be explored in different ways — including timeline, map and other reading views — then exported or turned into a professionally printed book.
Huminz is still evolving, and I’d genuinely value feedback from this community: what would make a life-story tool like this more useful, more trustworthy, or more compelling to you?
