So... AI voices are getting really good. A cloned voice on a call, a "news anchor" in a viral clip, a voiceover nobody recorded: most of us can't tell by ear anymore, and I couldn't either.
So I built Voice Check. It listens to whatever is playing and shows a live needle between 🤖 and 🧑.

On your Mac: it's built into Off the Record, our app that keeps your calls private from AI transcription. Turn it on and the Dock icon becomes a live human-or-AI meter for everything your Mac plays.
For developers: the same model is available as an API, with 1,000 free credits to start.
Everything runs on your device (yes even in the browser version). No audio is uploaded and nothing is recorded.
