Hey PH

Hull is a Kubernetes package manager I built as a modern alternative to Helm — a single Go binary.

The headline difference: templating happens inside YAML with ${...} expressions, so every render is valid YAML by construction (no more go-template whitespace surprises). Drift detection and reconciliation are built in — `hull drift` / `hull reconcile` — rather than bolted on with plugins. Every revision keeps a full audit trail (who, when, which flags and values), composition uses a first-class layers system instead of umbrella charts, and an environments block handles dev/staging/prod inheritance in one file.

It's MIT, ships as one binary, works alongside Argo CD / Flux, and `hull migrate` converts your existing Helm charts so trying it costs you nothing.

Would love feedback from anyone running Kubernetes in production — especially where Helm still wins.
