Hubify is a blazingly fast, highly optimized native Windows application launcher. Manage all your applications, monitor system resources, and declutter your digital workspace — all from one beautiful interface built with Rust and modern web technologies.
I've always had way too many apps running in the background — Discord, Figma, VS Code, VPN, antivirus, utilities - each with its own tray icon, its own process, scattered everywhere. Every time I looked at my taskbar it felt like chaos I couldn't control.
I tried Raycast, Flow Launcher, pinning things to the taskbar - nothing gave me the feeling that everything was actually in one place and under control.
So I just built it myself. Started as a weekend experiment, turned into something I genuinely use every day. Cleaned my entire desktop, removed every tray icon, and now Hubify is the only thing I need to open to find, launch, or manage anything.
The approach evolved a lot during development - originally I wanted to hijack tray icons directly, but Windows API has limits there. So instead I focused on making the hub itself so good that you simply don't need the tray anymore. One click, everything's there.
Still early, lots planned - sync, more built-in tools, plugins. But the core works and it already solved the problem I built it for
