Hunted byFilip DvoranFilip Dvoran

html2wp converts HTML to WordPress. A Lovable, Bolt, v0 or hand-written site becomes a standalone WordPress block theme — no page builder, so the markup you shipped is the markup that ships. What is different: it verifies its own output. Every page is compared against the original at 1440, 820 and 390 pixels wide, and the theme is installed into a real WordPress and driven there before handover. Runs as a Claude Code or Codex plugin. Free tier needs no account.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I build WordPress sites for clients. For years the job started the same way: a design lands as static HTML and I rebuild it by hand. Lately that HTML comes out of Lovable, Bolt or v0 — but the job did not change. The two normal options both cost something. Rebuild by hand, which is slow. Or run it through a page builder, which restructures your markup into its widgets and quietly changes the design. What bothered me most was that nobody checks the result. I went through every HTML-to-WordPress converter I could find, including Automattic's, and not one of them compares its output to its input. No screenshot diff, no pixel count. The closest thing to a fidelity claim in the category is an undefined "95%+ accuracy". So html2wp does that part. Every page is composed side by side with its original at 1440, 820 and 390 pixels wide, the theme is installed into a throwaway WordPress in Docker and driven there, and the run stops on a failed gate rather than handing over something that did not pass. You can check that instead of believing me: https://bruce.html2wp.dev is a conversion whose Lovable original is still public at https://bruce-banner.lovable.app. wp-admin is open on demo / demo. Honest about where it is: beta, and it runs as a Claude Code or Codex plugin rather than a web app, so it needs Node, Python with Playwright and Docker. That is the price of verifying inside a real browser and a real WordPress. Free tier is three conversions of up to five pages, no key, no sign-up. Happy to answer anything — especially where it breaks.
