I built this extension because I kept doing the same dumb thing: checking a price on Amazon Germany, opening a new tab, typing "EUR to USD", getting the number, and still having no idea if it was a good deal.

We wanted a tool that would give us an answer, not more math. The first version was just a popup with a number. Then we added coffee comparisons as a joke. Then users told us the coffee comparison was their favorite feature. So we doubled down on context.
The biggest unlock came when we added "hours of work." Suddenly a €1,200 flight wasn't a number — it was 24 hours of labor. That changed purchase decisions in a way exchange rates never did.
