Top comment

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built Hormuz Monitor because information about the Strait of Hormuz was scattered across shipping data, oil prices, financial markets, news reports, and political statements. The goal was to bring these signals together in one clean, scrollable dashboard so people can understand the situation without moving between many different sources. It currently includes vessel traffic estimates, oil and market data, geopolitical events, Trump social posts, a proprietary Hormuz Risk Index, and AI-generated situation summaries. The service is available in both English and Korean, and the project is open source. I’d especially appreciate feedback on: • which information is most useful • whether the dashboard is easy to understand Thanks for checking it out!
