What inspired this
I kept needing short links that weren’t just “tiny URLs” — campaign links that route by device/country, QR codes for print, and click data I could trust without selling privacy. Existing tools either felt bloated, expensive for what I needed, or weak on smart routing. So I built HopQ.in.
Problem it solves
Long links look messy, break in WhatsApp/Instagram, and give you almost no insight. Marketers and teams end up juggling Bitly-style tools, spreadsheets, and multiple links for mobile vs desktop vs geo. One campaign shouldn’t need five URLs.
