I built Hookwise because debugging webhooks still means jumping between temporary tunnels, request bins, provider dashboards, and terminal logs.
Hookwise brings that workflow into one place: create a public hook, inspect every request in real time, replay failures, configure forwarding, and run hookwise listen to deliver traffic directly to your local application.
The CLI uses an interactive device-login flow, so there are no tokens or complicated commands to copy around. Select your hook, choose a Local Agent target, provide your localhost URL, and start debugging.

the fact that you can capture, inspect, and replay without a separate GUI makes this feel like it was built by someone who's actually wrestled with a webhook at 2am. really clean move bundling auth straight into the cli.
Hookwise just works - the tunnel authenticated on the first try and replaying a webhook took seconds. Huge time-saver compared to juggling ngrok and requestbin.
honestly this looks super useful, the only thing i'd want is built in support for replaying webhooks with modified headers or payloads so we can test error handling without scripting it ourselves
Love how it keeps the auth flow tucked into one CLI tunnel instead of juggling a bunch of configs. Built this for real pain - replaying and inspecting hooks locally finally feels like the standard it should've always been.
Really useful for testing third party webhooks locally, the replay button alone has saved me hours. One thing that would make it even better is being able to add a delay or modify the payload right inside the replay UI, so I can simulate retries or bad data without having to resend from the source app.
