It started with a pretty familiar frustration.
We’ve spent 10+ years in outbound. Selling, being sold to, hiring SDRs, trying every tool that promised to fix the process. And on paper, things kept improving. More data, more automation, more AI.
But the day to day never really got easier.
Every Monday meant opening a stack of tabs just to understand one prospect. Company data in one tool, contacts in another, signals somewhere else, and a CRM that didn’t quite connect the dots. You’d piece everything together, write something thoughtful, and still question if the data was even right.
We kept running into the same issues:
* unreliable data
* signals you couldn’t trust
* messages that felt templated
* too much time spent stitching context together
At some point we stopped asking “what tool are we missing?” and started asking:
What would this look like if it actually worked for the rep doing the job?
That changed our approach completely.
Instead of adding another layer, we focused on removing them. One place, one prospect, all the context you’d normally have to gather yourself, ready in under a minute.
That’s how Hooklyne came to life.
Would love to hear how others here are dealing with this today
