Homeworld
Chores build the Eiffel Tower. The whole family plays.
Every chore anyone finishes adds points to a landmark your family builds together. Finish it, celebrate with a real reward, stamp it in your World Passport, pick the next one. No leaderboard, no weekly reset. Parents play too.
Hi PH. Solo builder, and I am the reason this app exists.
I lose track of my share of the housework. That left two outcomes in our house: my partner quietly did it all, or she had to keep reminding me. The second is worse than it sounds, because it turns her into the household manager and me into someone who needs managing.
Meanwhile my oldest is just old enough to take on real chores, and I wanted that to become a habit rather than a negotiation.
Every family chore app we tried was workplace gamification wearing a family skin. Leaderboards, streaks, weekly resets. In a household that means one kid is mathematically out of the running by Wednesday, and the parents are managers rather than players.
So Homeworld has one shared score. Every chore anyone finishes, mine very much included, adds points to a landmark we are all building. When it is done: Stamp Day, a celebration with a reward we picked in advance (ours was movie night with dimsum), the landmark gets stamped into our World Passport, and we choose the next one. Progress never resets. A slow week just means the tower rises slower.
Reminders go to whoever owns the task and are never broadcast to the rest of the family. The app does the nagging so my partner does not have to. That was the entire point.
Built during RevenueCat's Shipaton: Flutter, Firebase, RevenueCat for the household-level subscription (one sub covers the family, keyed per household rather than per person, which took more thought than expected), OneSignal for the quiet notifications, hand-drawn SVG landmarks with four build stages.
Free for up to 4 people with a starter set of landmarks. The free tier is the app, not a trial. The 93 second film in the gallery is a real morning of unscripted UI.
Ask me anything, especially if a chore system ever died in your house. I want to hear the autopsy.

Who hunted Homeworld?
Homeworld was hunted by Fahmi Sidik. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
