HomeVault is a local-first document manager for iPhone and iPad. Scan, import, organize, search, and protect important documents with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode. There is no HomeVault account or backend. Documents stay on device by default, with optional encrypted Apple iCloud backup only when the user enables it.
Hey Product Hunt,
I built HomeVault after getting tired of document apps that needed an account, pushed everything into cloud storage, or made export feel like an afterthought.
I wanted a simple setup: scan your documents, keep them organized on your iPhone or iPad, lock the app, and export when needed.
No HomeVault account. No backend. No remote OCR. Documents stay local by default, with optional encrypted Apple iCloud backup if you explicitly enable it.
I would love honest feedback, especially from people who care about where their data lives.

Who hunted HomeVault?
HomeVault was hunted by Sergey Eskin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
