Hi everyone, I’m Alex, the maker of HomeRank.
When my wife and I bought our current home, we were down to a few houses we both liked. Instead of going with our gut, we built a spreadsheet: listed what mattered to us, weighted each criteria, and scored every house. When we made our offer, we felt genuinely confident, because we could see why that house was the one.
Not everyone wants to build a spreadsheet in the middle of house hunting, though. So I built HomeRank: the same systematic approach, in an app that’s easy to use.
How it works:
• Pick your criteria (commute, natural light, the kitchen…) and set how much each one matters
• For each criterion, drag your homes from best to worst. No formulas, and no agonizing over whether a kitchen is a 6 or a 7
• HomeRank turns that into one ranking and shows the breakdown, so you can see exactly why a home came out on top
