Holy Private Bookmarks keeps your bookmarks in an AES-256-GCM encrypted vault — local only, no servers, no analytics, no subscriptions. Unlike Chrome, which syncs to Google, your data stays locked behind a master password only you know. Password recovery is intentionally impossible. Folders, drag-and-drop, auto-lock, import/export, keyboard shortcuts, and three themes included.
We built Holy Private Bookmarks because we wanted a bookmark manager that's actually private. Chrome syncs everything to Google by default — there's no built-in way to keep a separate, encrypted collection that only you can open. So we made one. AES-256-GCM encryption, local storage only, no servers, no accounts. The hardest decision was making password recovery intentionally impossible — but that's the only way to guarantee real privacy. If there's a recovery option, there's a way in for someone else.

Who hunted Holy Private Bookmarks?
Holy Private Bookmarks was hunted by OSV IT-Studio. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
