hob gives you one workspace for every coding agent you run. Run agents in parallel, switch models without losing context, and track every output back to the conversation that created it. Your workspace stays consistent, reliable, and predictable - organized long after the agents finish. Built for developers who direct multiple agents every day. Independent by design: bring your own keys, choose any model, and switch anytime without relying on a single AI supplier.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Andrew, one of the people building hob. We built it because the job changed. You don't work in one editor anymore — you run several coding agents at once, and the best one changes week to week. But most tools were built for the old setup, when the editor and the model came bundled, so they quietly push their own inference and make leaving cost something. hob is the opposite. One workspace for every agent you run — with initial support for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode. Bring your own keys, use your subscriptions, pick whatever model is best this week, and switch the moment a better one ships. We never sell inference, so we only win when you get work done faster. And every output an agent creates becomes an artifact — indexed, searchable, and linked to the conversation that made it. When a bug shows up, you fix it with the agent that already has the context, instead of explaining it to a new one from zero. Try it here: https://hob.dev/trial with promo code PRODHUNTLAUNCH. As a thanks, the first month is free for anyone who wants to give it a go — and any feedback would be hugely appreciated. - Andrew

How does hob handle context when switching between models mid-conversation, and is there any latency hit from routing through your own keys versus a hosted setup?

Finally tried hob and the parallel sessions actually feel stable, not just stacked tabs. Switching models mid-thread without losing context was the part that surprised me most.

Great product! i feel this will become great unlock for many teams like us as we become less dependant on specific models

Love the idea of going back to previous agent sessions. I had to copy-paste context way too many times, curious to see how it works in your app. One question: if we go back to the same old sessions multiple times, does it not bloat the context of those?

But anyways, looks really cool, will give it a try!

How does this handle context handoffs when switching between models mid-session, especially if the new model has a smaller context window than the previous one?

Who hunted hob?

hob was hunted by CallMeGwei. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
