Using the Pipedrive CRM with the remote team, we kept running into situations we wanted to quickly discuss things and ended up pasting links into our team chat or creating noise in deals and contacts with notes that were actually just quick messages.
So we created a team chat app to run directly in Pipedrive. Always there on the page. Easy to use. No clutter. Using @-mentions to quickly get someone into the conversation when needed.
