I built Hexdigest because I kept needing answers about the marketplaces I was building on and couldn't get them anywhere.
I wanted to know: how many Gumroad products actually make money? Which Shopify apps are growing? What's the pricing spread across the Chrome Web Store? The platforms publish all of this
publicly - but it's scattered across 25,000+ individual pages, there's no history, and every existing 'marketplace analytics' tool I found only sampled the top few thousand products,
once.
Every listing is re-crawled daily, with full price/rating/sales history kept from day one.
