Hi PH 👋 I'm a solo developer from Japan.
I built Henji because I was tired of the same loop: ask ChatGPT for a reply, get something polished but not me, then rewrite the whole thing. The AI was doing the wrong half of the work — it was thinking for me, when all I actually needed was help putting my own thoughts into words.
So Henji flips it. You stay in charge of what to say; it handles how to write it — in your voice. Under the hood it learns your real writing style over time, so replies stop sounding like an AI and start sounding like you. That "wait, this is exactly how I'd say it" moment is the whole product.
The vocabulary is the easy part to clone. What gives every "sounds like me" tool away is rhythm... mine runs short, then one long messy sentence, with the odd typo I'd never let a model clean up. I'm obsessive about my stuff never reading as AI, and that smoothness is the giveaway every time. Is Henji learning my rhythm and timing, or mostly my word choice?
