HelpPuff is an open-source AI chat assistant for your website that you own outright. It runs in your own Cloudflare account on the Workers Free plan (about 300 AI answers a day), so there's no subscription, no server to patch, and no chatbot vendor holding your conversations or leads.
It learns your website and files (PDF, Word, Markdown), answers visitors only from your content, and offers a human when it isn't sure. Every deployment includes:
- Lead capture with pre-chat and inline forms
- A built-in CRM with contacts, notes, labels and CSV export
- Live chat handoff to your team from the dashboard or Telegram
- In-chat appointment booking synced with Cal.com, Calendly, Google Calendar or Outlook
- A quotes and jobs board
- Automatic conversation summaries (intent, sentiment, lead quality, next steps)
- Signed webhooks for Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM
- Your own APIs as tools (e.g. order lookups)
Use Workers AI by default, or switch to OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek or any OpenAI-compatible model with one command. The widget is ~41 KB gzipped, fully brandable and mobile-first.
