HelloGen
Unlimited AI video, no credits per clip · Free AI images
HelloGen is the best unlimited AI video generator under $20 a month. No credits per clip, no cap on how many you make, and guaranteed priority renders every single day. We checked ten popular AI video tools — everywhere else, unlimited video starts at $99. It's a full AI studio too: flagship image and video models, plus an agent that picks the model and writes the prompt for you. And AI image generation stays free for everyone, forever.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I build HelloGen, and the reason it exists in this shape is a meter.
Every AI video tool sells clips by credits, and the meter is what stops people from making anything. You write one prompt, see the price, and close the tab. Meanwhile "unlimited video" elsewhere is a $99/mo tier — we checked ten popular services on 18 September, and on their $10–$50 plans video is sold by credits without exception.
So we host one open-weight video model ourselves (MiniMax H3) instead of paying a vendor per second of output. It doesn't cost us per clip, so it doesn't cost you per clip: on Pro ($19.9/mo) and Max ($49.9/mo) it is 0 credits a clip, however many you make.
What we promise, and what we don't:
• Guaranteed priority renders every day — at least 2 on Pro, 5 on Max — that go straight to the front.
• Clips beyond those still render, at standard speed. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
• 2–15s, 480p, with generated stereo sound. From text, a photo, first + last frame, or up to 9 reference images. One click takes a keeper to 1080p or 4K.
• Failed generations are never charged.
The credit-priced flagships are still there when a shot needs them — Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2, Nano Banana, GPT Image 2 — and Pro includes an assistant that picks the model, writes the prompt and shows the exact price before anything renders.
Image generation stays free: unlimited on a free account, no watermark, commercial use included. It was free before any of this and it stays free.
I'd love to hear where this breaks for you. In particular: what would actually make you cancel a credit-based video subscription?

HelloGen was hunted by Chiwei Chen. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
