Every weekday, thousands of us take buses from New Jersey into Manhattan through the Lincoln Tunnel, and when it jams, you're stuck guessing how long it will take to clear. HelixAlert pulls live transit data and shows delays in the tunnel corridor and the XBL. It's been live for three months, ranks #4-5 on Google for 'Lincoln tunnel traffic,' and has hundreds of daily users.
Users can subscribe for alerts when delays go over custom thresholds and get morning and evening briefings with the traffic update before they leave for the bus.
Tracks inbound buses in the tunnel to calculate outblound bus delays.
Provides directions to Park & Ride bus stops.
Alerts can be pushed to the phone or Telegram bot.
Users can also setup their favorite bus stops for easy schedule and gate lookups.
