Hi everyone, I’m Galvin, founder of Lauretta AI and one of the creators of Hearthlight.
Over the last few years, we’ve watched AI become one of the most powerful technologies in the world. Most of us interact with it through services we don’t control, running on infrastructure we don’t own.
We thought it was time to change that.
Hearthlight is our attempt to put the power of AI back into the hands of users. It’s AI for the physical world: helping people understand what is happening across cameras and sensors while respecting privacy and maintaining control over their own systems.
We’re still early, and we’d love feedback from builders, operators, security teams, researchers, and anyone interested in the future of physical AI.
Happy to answer questions throughout the day. Thanks for checking us out.

Who hunted Hearthlight?
Hearthlight was hunted by galvinw. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
