Know when to take break before screen affects your health
Spending 7–8 hours a day at a computer can mean tired eyes, a stiff neck, and back pain. Prolonged sitting also adds long-term health risks like type-2 diabetics, cardiovascular diseases, while fatigue can quietly erode focus and performance. Ontor learns how you interact with computer (e.g., typing rhythm, scrolling) to notice changes in your energy and focus, then suggests short breaks and simple exercises to help you finish the day feeling better. Private | On-device | No wearable needed
Hey everyone, I’m Sabber, the founder of Ontor. I spend most of my day coding and working at a computer, and I often forget to take a break even when I’m tired. I’ve felt the neck pain, tiredness, and blurry vision that come with long days at a screen. Over time, too much sitting is also associated with higher risks of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
That’s why I built Ontor. It learns patterns in how you interact with your computer to suggest when a short break might help and what to do during it.
You can try it free for 14 days on Mac or Windows. I’d love to hear your feedback including the criticism so I can improve this to help millions.
